Compulsory modules during the first year provide students with a good foundation in their field of study. In later years, you will be able to chose some modules according to your own interests.
Our three-year, single honours BA and BSc students are encouraged to undertake a year-long placement in between stages two and three of study. If you meet the entry criteria and choose to take up a placement year, you will find it an invaluable opportunity to apply your learning and prepare for your future career. We can help you secure your placement, whether it be in the UK or overseas.
Students partaking in our BSc and BA sports science degrees, as well as postgraduate programmes, are asked to meet our standard entry requirements for the individual courses. For our international students, we ask that the English Language requirements of IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5.5 in all bands for study are met at undergraduate level.
We also ask that applicants read specific sports science degree requirements, as these vary between courses.
If you’re not in employment within six months of graduating, you’ll receive six months of personalised career support from a dedicated Careers Development Consultant.
