Geography and Environmental Science

Build an understanding of the physical and human factors that impact our environment daily. Discover why the environment has become a major international talking point in recent times and how you can help shape the conversation for future generations.

Our flexible and interdisciplinary undergraduate courses allow you to follow a programme with modules drawn from across the subjects of environmental science, geography and waste management.

Your lecturers are well respected and vastly experienced in their specialist fields. Your learning will be a diverse mix of theoretical presentations, debates and discussion and practical hands-on learning through regular local field trips and an optional annual overseas field module.

Recent graduates from our Environmental Science programmes have found work in social research, teaching, environmental management and local government and planning. Several graduates have also gained employment with well known organisations including the Environment Agency, Natural England and the Wildlife Trust.
