The Extreme Right Research Network at the University of Northampton is hosting a free day-long (9.30am-4.30pm) workshop, bringing together practitioners, professionals and academics to debate and discuss the extreme right in Britain and globally.

The Extreme Right Research Network at the University of Northampton is hosting a free day-long (9.30am-4.30pm) workshop, bringing together practitioners, professionals and academics to debate and discuss the extreme right in Britain and globally.

The event will explore key aspects of contemporary extreme right politics and will set a research agenda based on issues raised by all participants. As well as a range of workshop activities, there will be four keynote talks:

Prof. Roger Griffin (Oxford Brookes University) on conceptualising the extreme right

Dr Sophie James (Lancaster University) on marketing the extreme right

Mark Wilson (Community Safety Officer, Dudley) on challenging the extreme right

Rajesh Thind (Award-Winning Documentary Maker) on media representations of community impact of the extreme right
