What’s the value of women’s sport? Come to our conference and find out

Date 1.02.2018

A leading expert on the brand value of women’s sport is the latest addition to the University of Northampton’s Changing Futures For Women In Sports Media conference.

A data analyst with global performance management company, Nielsen Sports & Entertainment, Giulia Zecchini works with Premier League football clubs to try and help them maximise their media presence and sponsorship deals.

She will be talking about the growth of women’s sport and what can be done to take it forward, how to create an exciting sporting product and how brands and rights holders can make the most of women’s sport.

Conference organiser, Senior Journalism Lecturer Marc Webber, said: “Giulia is a fantastic signing for the event and will provide a great insight into the value of women’s sport.

“Her appearance will be particularly beneficial for any women wanting to work in sports marketing, or are already doing so, who want to see how the industry operates at the very top level.”

Female sports marketers and sports media practitioners can register their attendance for the free event by visiting the Eventbrite page, which also includes the full line up of guest speakers and workshops.
