Sporty foursome: Wastes management team to run half marathon for British Heart Foundation

Date 1.09.2016

Four of our sporty Wastes Management academics will be popping their trainers on on Sunday 2 October, to run 13 miles around the grounds of the historic Blenheim Palace.

Professor Margaret Bates, Paul Cox, Ruth Copeland Phillips and Dr Terry Tudor will all be taking part in the Blenheim Palace half marathon, in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

Margaret explained: “I have recently been diagnosed with a heart condition (not about to drop down dead) and so the four of us – me, Paul, Ruth and Terry are going to run a half marathon at the beginning of October to raise funds for charity.”
