According to the sponsors: “Universities and their staff continue to be tested by the financial and political climate. But as ever, they continue to rise to every challenge. Our shortlist singles out those who uphold, and exceed, the standard of excellence.”
Professor Simon Denny, UN Social Enterprise Development Director, said: “It is the second year we have been short-listed and our strong application was a reflection of the significant progress that we continue to make. Other institutions are becoming more and more aware of the importance of this growth sector to both the student experience, employability and the wider community. We should be proud of our credentials and an already well established infrastructure and support team that nurtures our student entrepreneurs.”
The winners will be announced at gala ceremony in London in November.
