University research centre founds International Research Centre for Innovation Policies and Management

The University of Northampton’s China and Emerging Economy Centre (CEEC) has joined other world-leading institutions to establish the International Research Centre for Innovation Policies and Management at the Innovation Policies and Management Conference in Nanjing, China.

Other founding members of the International Research Centre include Cambridge University’s Institute for Manufacturing in the UK, National Tsing Hua University’s Institute of Technology management in Taiwan, Nanjing University of Science and Technology’s School of Public Affairs in Chia, University of Waterloo in Canada and Central American University in the US.

Dr Shaowei He, pictured, Senior Lecturer at the University of Northampton, will represent the CEEC and serve as a council member of the International Research Centre.

He said: “This is a truly international joint effort and will significantly enhance the University’s reputation in the area of innovation policies and management. We expect intensive research collaboration between the founding members of the International Research Centre in the following years.”
