The Unitemps branch at the University of Northampton walked away with an impressive haul of accolades at this year’s Unitemps Annual conference.

The team added to its trophy cabinet as recruitment consultant Sonam Sherpa was crowned Internal Consultant of the Year, while Emma Bradshaw was a runner up in the Support Person of the Year category.

The branch were also recognised at the conference, held earlier this month at the Radcliffe Conference Center in Warwick, for surpassing £5million turnover.

Since Unitemps opened at the University of Northampton in September 2014, the branch have now exceeded £6million turnover; with more than 6,000 student jobs filled both locally and nationally, and 680,000 hours worked by students.

The Unitemps annual conference and awards ceremony is designed for all 19 branches across the UK. More than 80 staff members across the growing Unitemps UK network get together to work through a series of workshops, discuss new ideas and celebrate their successes throughout the year.

Sarah Woods, Senior Unitemps Recruitment Consultant at the University of Northampton, said: “This has been a record breaking year for our branch, and to have added to our already extensive trophy cabinet is a fantastic achievement for our team. It makes all of our hard work during the year worthwhile.”
