University of Northampton’s social enterprise partner, Goodwill Solutions, recognised for its work within the community

​​Mike Britton, Managing Director of Goodwill Solutions, a University of Northampton social enterprise partner, has won a silver award at the Great British Entrepreneur awards for the ‘Social Enterprise (UK) Entrepreneur of the Year’ category.

The award recognises that the winner will have a track record of extraordinary leadership in the battle against Britain’s social challenges.  The entrepreneur will direct a company, organisation or non-profit that is geared towards creating social change with strong examples of positive impact and success within communities in the UK.

Being nominated for and winning the Silver Award in the Social Enterprise (UK) Entrepreneur of the Year category is recognition of the work the team at Goodwill Solutions CIC delivers. Using the power of commercial activity to deliver social change forms an integral part of the organisation’s strategy for social delivery systems of the future.

Goodwill Solutions CIC offers bespoke logistics and warehousing solutions to retailers and global manufacturers. It uses the infrastructure and surpluses generated to run back-to-work courses for ex-military with post-traumatic stress disorder clients, ex-offenders, and other disadvantaged individuals.
