University of Northampton named in top 50 universities for student satisfaction by Complete University Guide

The University of Northampton has been ranked among the top 50 UK universities for overall student satisfaction, in the latest data revealed by the Complete University Guide.
The Complete University Guide, which includes 130 UK institutions, is used by prospective students, parents, and educational advisors to compare universities across the UK based on a range of metrics, including staff-student ratios, , student satisfaction, graduate prospects and entry standards.
Announced on 10 June 2025, the University of Northampton has again progressed overall in the Complete University Guide, showing significant improvement for student satisfaction which has skyrocketed nearly 40 places since 2024.
The scores for student satisfaction at the University of Northampton this year matches Oxford and Cambridge at 3.14/4, as well as placing above 20 of the 24 Russell Group Universities.
The grading for student satisfaction is based on how satisfied students are with the quality of teaching they have received while studying at university and is based on the Guide’s unique methodology using the 2024 National Student Survey results.
