Date 13.11.2015

Since A-level results day, the University of Northampton took over 3,000 calls during Clearing and has offered in excess of 900 places.

The University’s Clearing Hotline was open from 8am on Thursday 13 August, with expert advisers on hand to guide applicants through the process, explain their options and support applications. The most popular courses were Accounting and Finance, Psychology, Economics and Law, as well as the foundation year programmes, which provides the best possible preparation for degree level study.

Over 600 students attended the Open Day on 15 August, which provided an opportunity to visit the University, have a look around both campuses, meet academics and obtain advice and guidance on a range of issues from module choice, funding and accommodation.

Antony Bounds, Head of Admissions at the University of Northampton, commented: “It’s been another successful Clearing period for the University of Northampton. The popularity of many of our programmes continues to grow and we’ve seen a range of applicants from different backgrounds and with different qualifications applying to us.”
