Students take over town centre venue for music showcase

News Page 20th November 2018

Students from the University of Northampton are taking over a town-centre venue for an evening of music.

Eight bands will play The Platform, in George Row, on Thursday 6 December, from 6pm – and entry is absolutely free.

The bands comprise first, second and third year students on the Popular Music course. The course gives undergraduates experience of playing live venues throughout the academic year, culminating with a performance at the legendary Roadmender, in March.
