The University of Northampton’s School of The Arts (SOTA) is holding its postgraduate conference in September.

To be held on 15 and 16 September, the conference will feature a keynote lecture from Professor Gina Wisker, from the University of Brighton.

Gina will be speaking on ‘Learning journeys and success: conceptual threshold crossings for postgraduates and supervisors – learning leaps and ‘nudging’.

Prof Wisker has authored four books in the Palgrave Research Skills series: The Postgraduate Research Handbook (2007), The Undergraduate Research Handbook (2009), The Good Supervisor (2012) and Getting Published (2015).

Alongside papers and research updates from our SOTA postgraduates, we will also be hearing talks from Professor Ebtisam Ali Sadiq (King Saud University) and our visiting PhD student from the University of Zaragoza, Beatriz Perez-Zapata.

If you are a University of Northampton member who is interested in attending, find out more on the Research Support Hub.
