Northampton Podiatry students are in with the chance of scooping £1,000 in a competition launched this week.

The competition is open to all podiatry students, as well as qualified podiatrists, who are planning voluntary work, work placements or research in the UK or abroad.

The last date for applications is 20th April 2018 and applicants need to demonstrate that their selected project will develop their professional knowledge and skills and benefit others.

The £1,000 award is designed to assist with the costs associated with the chosen project.

The competition is being run by Cosyfeet, who produce footwear, socks and hosiery for people with swollen or problem feet.

The winner will be requested to submit a report and photographs of their experience, and to be included in Cosyfeet publicity relating to the award.
