Midwifery student wins Student of the Year Award from Milton Keynes Hospital

​Congratulations to Midwifery student Shaan Meeda, who won the Student of the Year award at an awards ceremony held by Milton Keynes Hospital to celebrate the achievements and commitments of its staff.

Shaan, who is on the third year of her course, attended the ceremony on Wednesday 10 December at the Kents Hill Hilton in Milton Keynes. More than 100 people attended the awards ceremony, which recognised inspirational individuals and talented teams regularly going over and above to give patients the best possible care.

Shann commented: “I feel privileged to have won the Student of the Year. It came as a complete shock to me! However I would like to thank all of the lecturers, mentors and fellow students for their support and inspiration.”
