Our Institute for Creative Leather Technologies was featured on BBC Two’s Made in Great Britain programme on Friday evening. Presenter Steph McGovern was given a shovel and a lesson in leather making by Institute Director, Rachel Garwood, pictured above.

Head of Fashion, Dr Julie King, has now moved to a new role with Cardiff University. Her final piece of media work for UoN took place on Friday, when she appeared on BBC Radio Leicester for a feature on hiring clothes (starts 38m)

Professor of Sustainable Wastes Management at the University of Northampton, Margaret Bates, was a guest on the BBC News channel on Tuesday, running the rule over the Government’s waste strategy.
