A round up of recent mentions in the media of the University, our staff and students.

Senior Lecturer in Journalism Kate Ironside spoke to ITV Anglia News (West) about fake news as digital literacy is increasingly being taught in schools. Watch again (starts at 7mins).

Nursing student Chioma Vivian Ezunu is also one of the new student editors for the Nursing Times. With her latest blog, she talks about the impact placements can have on a student’s mental health and share her top tips for how to cope.

Another UON Nursing student features in the Nursing Times, this time Iyanuoluwa Deborah Adubi, who adds her view to an article about the nursing staffing crisis.

The University has launched a new Sustainable Logistics and Supply Chain Management degree. Senior Lecturer Andrew Gough spoke about this in several sector publications, including Home Designer and Architect and BNN Breaking.

Kate Ironside also gave her expert’s view on the Wellingborough by-elections to several national, BBC TV News programmes (watch again links not available).

Nursing Associate apprentice Michaela Derriscott’s story featured in the Northampton Chronicle & Echo.

MBA graduate Kemi Dare is set to launch a book about how to spice up a marriage later this month, as reported by The National (Nigeria).
