Margaret Bates, Professor in Sustainable Wastes Management, appeared on BBC Breakfast talking about how the scheme to recycle plastic straws is not “fit for purpose” (watch again link not available).

Margaret’s voluntary work providing support to victims of war crimes in Bosnia was also reported in several newspapers, including the Chronicle and Echo.
