Enterprise4Corby sponsors the 2015 Corby Awards

A University of Northampton organisation which supports businesses in Corby is backing an awards ceremony which celebrates the town’s business community.

Enterprise4Corby, a project delivered by the University’s Northampton Business School, has sponsored the Corby Awards 2015.

The annual awards ceremony, which is now in its third year, aims to discover, showcase and reward the very best businesses and businesspeople in the borough, and promotes success, innovation and ethics.

Entries for the nine different categories are now being accepted, with the winners set to be revealed during a glittering ceremony at the Rockingham Forest Hotel, Corby, on Friday 18 September.

Janice Watkins, Project Leader for Enterprise4Corby, said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the Corby Awards 2015, which promotes the brilliant business community in the borough.

“As an organisation which supports many start-ups and existing businesses in the town, it is entirely fitting that Enterprise4Corby is an award sponsor.”

Enterprise4Corby helps individuals start their own business by working through a series of action plans covering all aspects of business start-up, such as personal finances, market research, marketing, registering with HMRC and promotional techniques including social media training.

Established businesses are also are assisted to improve and mature through a series of workshops covering business strategy, sales, marketing, and customer retention along with understanding finances.
