Delapré Abbey festival to feature Fine Art students’ work

News Page 16th May 2019

Creative students from the University of Northampton will be giving visitors to Delapré Abbey guided tours of the historic building – and their works of art – over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Work from first year Fine Art students will go on display at the Forecast Public Art Festival, which is being held at the Grade II-listed attraction, in Northampton, between Saturday 25 and Monday 27 May.

The artworks have all been inspired by the newly restored abbey’s rich heritage and unique character, and visitors to the festival will be given tours of the building and its grounds by the students, who will also take time to talk about their work.

For directions, opening hours and more details, visit the Delapré Abbey website.
