Degree Show 2025: Highlighting the sharpest creative talent in next generation of industry professionals

Soon-to-be graduates from the Faculty of Arts, Science and Technology at the University of Northampton will be showcasing their final year’s work when they open their studio doors to the public at this year’s Degree Show.

Opening on Thursday 19 June, the exhibition celebrates the achievements and creativity of the third-year students and will feature work from a wide range of Art, Design, Technology, Media, and Performance courses.

The show will run until Tuesday 24 June and gives the public the opportunity to view students’ work which will be displayed around the University’s Waterside Campus.

The University’s Learning Hub will be transformed into a catwalk with the annual Final Year Fashion Show. Students will be presenting their collections on the catwalk in front of family, friends, staff, students, members of the public and industry representatives. The first shows will take place at 1pm and 6.45pm on Thursday 19 June – open to the public and no tickets required.

Hair, Makeup and Prosthetics for Stage and Screen students will be exhibiting their final major projects, as well as applying live makeup and prosthetic demonstrations on the opening night of the exhibition (6-9pm on Thursday 19 June). This will offer members of the public a unique opportunity to witness artistry in-person and up-close.

Acting students will be showcasing their talents in the University’s much-loved ‘Shakespeare on the Lawn’ series. This year, the Acting students are performing in Much Ado About Nothing and MacBeath, with performances taking place on Goose Green at our Waterside Campus. Show times will be 12.30pm and 4.30pm on Thursday 26, Friday 27 and Saturday 28 June – open to the public and no tickets required.

The Fine Art, Fine Art Painting and Drawing and Popular Music Degree Show exhibitions will be on display for all to see at the Development Hub, with all other Degree Show exhibitions taking place at the Creative Hub.

The Degree Show will be open from Thursday 19 to Tuesday 24 June from 10am to 4pm at the University of Northampton’s Waterside Campus, Northampton, NN1 5PH.
