Date 4.04.2018

There’s still time to make your nomination for the 2018 Changemaker Awards…

Nominations for University of Northampton’s Changemaker Awards 2018, which reward the work staff, students and others have engaged in to help out in the world, are now open.

The Changemaker initiative at the University focuses on staff and students finding solutions to environmental or social problems to improve people’s lives, either at home or abroad.

The awards recognise the most innovative and impactful projects and showcase the achievements of staff, students and community members.

The nominations can be made online and are open to staff, students and people outside of the University with the 11 award categories covering students, colleagues, ideas, or community groups.

They include:

  • Changemaker Student of the Year
  • Changemaker Lecturer of the Year
  • Changemaker Staff Member of the Year
  • Changemaker School of the Year.

This is the fourth year of the Awards, which culminate in an official dinner during the Changemaker Employability Week in November 2018, to which all shortlisted nominees will be invited.

Abi Wicks, Changemaker Lead at the University of Northampton said: “The Changemaker Awards are the highlight of the year, valued by staff and students alike in recognition of the fantastic work we all do in creating a positive social impact in the communities we serve.

“Every year we are blown away by the stories and achievements people are nominated for and I’m sure this year will be no exception.”

Full details can be found in the online nominations form and the deadline for sending nominations is Wednesday 11 July.

All enquiries should be emailed to the Changemaker Hub.
