Mary Huntley, Senior Lecturer in Midwifery at the University of Northampton said: “The students and staff at the University of Northampton are deeply saddened to hear of Charlotte’s death.
“Charlotte was a lovely young woman, whose quiet, friendly manner served her well with her academic studies at University and during her clinical placement with Kettering General Hospital. Charlotte was well liked and extremely hard working throughout her studies; as well as when she was playing for the University of Northampton Students’ Union Lacrosse team.
“Charlotte was a lovely person, who will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends at this difficult time.”
Liam Bligh, Students’ Union President said: ” It is with great sadness the Students’ Union learnt yesterday of the passing of one of our students, Charlotte Hart, who was studying BSc Midwifery. An enthusiastic member of Women’s Lacrosse and the Midwifery Society, the Union would like to express our deepest condolences to all who knew and loved her.
“The Students’ Union is open to any and all wishing to seek support during this difficult time and counselling can be accessed by visiting the Student Helpdesk in the Student Centre on Park Campus or contacting Student Services by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 01604 89 2833.”
