Michael joined the University of Northampton in January 2022. His academic background is in Physics and Electronics where he earned a bachelor and master’s degrees. He holds a PhD in Physics with specialisation in space plasma physics from the University of Leicester, UK.
Michael is passionate about teaching and supporting learning in Higher Education. He has over nine years of experience in teaching and supporting learning across levels 3 to 7 of various STEM-related disciplines within the higher education sector. He has contributed to other academic responsibilities in Higher Education, such as curricula and programme reviews in Physics. Michael is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society (FRAS).
