Staff Profile

  • Michael has 20 years experience in practice, predominantly in the field of forensic mental health. Specialism was gained in the area of Deaf Mental Health, where British Sign Language was the main language.

    Michael held leadership positions toward the later end of his clinical practice, including the area of vocational rehabilitation/training.

    Outside of work Michael is involved in his local church as a youth leader and a worship leader.

    Interests include drumming, football, walking and DIY.

  • Michael teaches on a range of modules through the Occupational Therapy programme across all levels (Level 4 to Level 7). 

    Michael leads on the Level 4 induction and is practice lead for the BSc programme.
