James was appointed as a Lecturer in Sport Development at the University of Northampton in April 2019. James has a BA (Hons) degree in Sport Studies and Business and an MA in Sport Development. James is a Senior Lecturer in Physical Education and is currently Course Leader for the Physical Education and Sport undergraduate degree. James has been, and continues to be, involved in a number of research projects, including his work evaluating the county wide ‘Move Northamptonshire strategy. James is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Award (FHEA)
