  • I-Chun is a lecturer in Hair, Make-up, and Prosthetics at the University of Northampton. She has years of experience in education and industry and has been a freelancer in TV, films, and theatre in Taiwan and the UK. She completed her Ph.D. at the Institute of Art and Design, at De Montfort University, Leicester in 2016. I-Chun’s doctoral research not only explored Beauty Therapists/Make-up Artists’ vocational and training system in High Education in Taiwan and the UK but also identified the professional competences required for the industry to develop a strategy to bridge the gap between education and industry.
