Staff Profile - Faye Rogerson
Mrs Faye
Faye completed her BA (Hons) in Sports Studies and Physical Education at York St John University before undertaking a PGCE in Secondary Physical Education at Loughborough University. She then began a rewarding 20-year career in physical education teaching.
Faye started her teaching career in her home county of Nottinghamshire before moving to Dubai, where she spent ten years teaching in two British curriculum international schools. Working within all-through school settings, from Foundation Stage to Year 13, provided valuable experience across both primary and secondary education and broadened her understanding of pupil development throughout the educational journey.
After returning to the UK, Faye continued teaching in Northamptonshire before joining the University of Northampton as an Associate Lecturer. She now holds a more permanent position, contributing to both the PE and Sport degree programme and Initial Teacher Training.
Faye teaches Physical Education and Sport and across both the primary and secondary ITT programmes.
She also acts as a Personal Academic Tutor and Moderation Tutor during school-based placements.
