  • Before joining University of Northampton, Dom Murphy was a headteacher. Most of his teaching career has been in the primary sector.

  • Dom Murphy’s main teaching is in the BA in Learning and Teaching where he is course leader, and the Foundation Degree in Learning and Teaching.

  • Currrent research is into wellbeing and happiness in education and into the value of the role of the teaching assistant in the ‘soft skills’ in schools.
