Deborah is a Professional Lead for Occupational Therapy and oversee the Occupational Therapy programmes from a strategic viewpoint. She works closely with the regulatory body, the Health Care Professions Council and the Royal College of Occupational Therapists to ensure that our programme meets accreditation standards.
She is Course Lead for the full-time route for the BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy degree, supporting and providing guidance to full time students in addition to assuring the quality of the programme.
Deborah is an admissions tutor and responsible for recruiting the next generation of occupational therapists and enjoys meeting new students and supporting with the transition to university.
She teaches across several modules, mainly at L6 and L7. She is enthusiastic about exploring new areas of practice for occupational therapy and broadening the profession beyond its current practice.
