Anna studied and worked at the University of Liverpool where she obtained her PhD in language cognition. Anna has experience working on a number of developmental psychology research projects. Most recently, at the University of York, she worked on a project investigating the role of language in the transmission of inequality. She Joined the University of Northampton in 2024.
Anna teaches across a number of undergraduate modules on the BSc (Hons) Psychology and BSc (hons) Psychology (Developmental and Educational) programmes.

Anna specialises in developmental and educational psychology. Her main research interests are language development, from both a developmental and cognitive perspective.
