The aim of our MPhil/ PhD / PhD by Published Works programme is to equip the next generation of researchers. You will deliver a high-quality piece of independent research that contributes to our existing knowledge which may go on to inform healthcare policy and influence the practice and organisation of care providers. We host many postgraduate research students. They use a range of research methods and approaches within a range of health contexts both within the UK and elsewhere. You will be awarded a Level 8 qualification, which is the highest formal certification you may obtain in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, after successful defence of your final thesis. This will offer you with an excellent opportunity for career progression in a range of fields.
