Computing Degrees and Masters

We offer flexible, part-time and full-time, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to help you develop key computing skills.

From virtual reality and gaming to web design and security – our courses will help you develop the key skills essential for career enhancement and progression, to ensure that you excel in whichever career you choose to enter.

Our undergraduate Computing and Business Computing programmes offer a variety pathways including the in-depth analysis of computer systems, software engineering, network engineering, cyber security, mobile applications and web design.

Our postgraduate Computing programmes are technical in focus, but you will also learn about the business context and develop interpersonal skills that are vital to problem solving in business.

We welcome all applicants to our courses, including international applications and applications from students with a range of non-traditional educational or professional qualifications.

Business Computing Degree Programmes

The Systems pathway of Business Computing explores design, technological development, management and commercial issues.

Computing Degree Programmes

Our Computing degree gives you the opportunity to explore different ideas, developing innovate solutions of improvements to current issues in the computing industry. You’ll be given an insight into the computing industry, investigating the wide reaching influences that computers and computing technology have on the world, while making contributions to help find your place within the industry.

Our two year Computing HND takes a diverse approach to a range of ideas, giving you the opportunity to develop innovative solutions or improvements to current issues in computing. We give you the chance to investigate the wide reaching influences that computers and computing technology have on the world, making your town contributions and finding your place in this industry. This course has been temporarily suspended for this year, but we welcome applications for September 2021.

This introductory course has been designed for those wishing to expand their current skills and understanding with the potential to continue your studies to gain a full degree

Computer Engineering Degree Programmes

This degree develops your independent thinking and flexibility within computer networking, mobile applications programming and the communications sector of computing.

This programme gives you a technical understanding of computer networking, distributed computing, artificial intelligence design, data communications and more.

Our specialist Software Engineering degree focuses on the impact that software engineering has on the functionality and performance of products. Computing is an integral part of people’s daily lives and it continues to grow and evolve.

Our specialist Computer Systems Engineering degree will give you the technical understanding of computer systems and the skills you need to become an embedded designer. You will investigate the wide reaching influences that computers and computing technology have on the world, whilst also making your own contributions to help you find your place within the industry. Virtual Reality and Industrial Simulation Degree Programmes

This programme teaches the power of Virtual Reality & Industrial Simulation in Computing, with a focus on 2D formats and development for use within a variety of platforms. This course has been temporarily suspended for this year, but we welcome applications for September 2021.

Web Technology and Mobile Applications Degree Programmes

Our specialist Mobile Application Development course will develop your understanding of the aspects that face mobile computing in today’s society. This course has been temporarily suspended for this year, but we welcome applications for September 2021.

Postgraduate Computing Programmes

Our postgraduate Computing (Computer Networks Engineering) MSc allows you develop your research and analytical skills and complete an individual thesis investigating.

Our Computing (Computer Software Engineering) MSc allows you to study the design of software systems in greater depth and will develop your research skills.

Our Computing (Internet Technology and Security) postgraduate course will immerse you in the world of cyber security while developing your research skills and honing your analytical techniques.
