Schools and Colleges Liaison
As the Schools and Colleges Liaison Team, we are dedicated to informing and inspiring students across the UK about Higher Education. Working closely with teachers, careers advisers, students and parents, we are committed to providing information and guidance throughout the university journey.
We offer both in school and virtual sessions on request, and have a range of online resources as well as a calendar of virtual events and sessions.
Everything we offer is designed to prepare students for the university application process and student life. We are here to help them fulfil their potential by raising aspirations, and building on their abilities and experiences.
For now, our on campus activities and events for school groups are not taking place, however if you would like to express an interest in bringing students on to campus, either for a tour or to attend a taster day please do let us know, and as soon as this becomes available we will be in touch to arrange. Students can also individually arrange a virtual campus tour.
If you are a Designated Teacher or support Looked After Children in Key Stage 4 or 5, visit our Care Leavers Hub for more information on how we can support your students.
For more information please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01604 893618 and we will be happy to help.

Support for Access Students
We offer bespoke ‘Access to Higher Education’ sessions for students currently studying Access to HE qualifications. Mindful of the short amount of time that these students have before applying to university (when on a one year Access to HE course) these sessions are a one stop resource, that cover all aspects of the university application process including course choices, UCAS, personal statements, finance and interview skills. Sessions can be delivered to fit in with your timetable, either on site or via a virtual session, or students can take part in a weekly virtual session, as detailed in ‘Our events’.
Resource in a box
Bringing university-style learning and content to life in your classroom. With an array of resources and activity plans in one box, resource in a box is designed to link in with an A-level curriculum, enabling you to continue to teach your exam syllabus in a fun, exciting and innovative way but also include aspects of level 4 content and delivery.
Currently, our on campus events such as taster days and campus tours are not taking place. However we have a number of virtual events taking place between September and December 2020, as detailed below. To book please just contact the team.
We understand that now, more than ever, time may be limited for any activity that is in addition to the curriculum. So we have created pre-recorded versions of our interactive sessions with accompanying workbooks and activities, to enable students to get to grips with topic areas at a time that works for them. We’ve listed the sessions on offer below, please just contact the team for the video link and activities:
- Introduction to Higher Education
- Interview Skills
- Completing your Personal Statement
- Applying through UCAS
- University Life Outside of London
Schools and colleges are welcome to access content available through our Skills Hub. The content has been put together by our Learning Development team, who offer guidance and tuition to all of our students to enhance their academic, mathematical and study skills.
Content available to schools and colleges:

- How to study
- How to research
At the moment we are unable to welcome any school and college groups on to campus, however if you’d like to express an interest in visiting us when we are able to host Taster Days please contact the team.
Our Taster Days are aimed at students in Years 11, 12 and 13 providing them with the opportunity to experience of what university life is like. Our events are flexible and can be tailored to suit areas of interest. Activities on the day can include:
- Welcome Session & Introduction to Higher Education
- Campus Tour delivered by a current student

Taster Days provide your students with the perfect opportunity to ask questions and discuss any concerns that they may have before applying to university. Alternatively, we always welcome group visits from schools and colleges at our Open Days.
