Welcome to the University of Northampton Competence Test Centre

We’d love to welcome you to the University of Northampton Competence Test Centre to sit your OSCE. There are many reasons to choose us for your exam.

Why UON?

• Location: We’re centrally located in the UK, around an hour by train from London Euston or Birmingham, and not far from the M1 (J15, 15a or 16) if you’re driving.
• Facilities: We’re located in a modern building in the centre of Northampton opposite the rail station, with hotels, shops and restaurants nearby. Our café is next to the candidate waiting room and is open 8:30am to 2pm during UON term time only. We have recently opened our quiet room and prayer space.
• Experience: We were the first CTC and have been operating since 2014. In that time we’ve tested over 40,000 individual candidates.
• Success: Our pass rate is consistently on par with other top test centres, reflecting our commitment to maintaining high standards.
