University of Northampton students featured in Vogue Singapore

Date 21.10.2026

Students studying University of Northampton UON) degrees at Raffles College of Higher Education in Singapore have been recognised on the international fashion stage after being featured in the September 2026 edition of Vogue Singapore.

Fashion Design graduate Isavella Kouvelis and Jewellery Design graduate Chen Si Hang, both enrolled on UON programmes delivered through Raffles Singapore, showcased their final collections in the prestigious publication.

Isavella’s collection, Light and Passion, explores the intersection of theatrical couture and contemporary fashion, combining corsetry, handcrafted fabrics and Swarovski crystals to create dramatic, light-responsive silhouettes inspired by showgirl aesthetics and historical fashion traditions.

Chen Si Hang’s collection, Sensoria, reimagines jewellery as a tool for wellbeing, incorporating rose quartz, sandalwood beads and innovative 3D-printed moving elements inspired by Zen principles and mindfulness.

The latest success highlights the growing impact of the UON’s partnership with Raffles College of Higher Education, which was formally established in 2025 and has already seen students secure industry awards, commercial opportunities and collaborations with leading brands across Singapore.

Becky Bradshaw, UON’s Interim Vice Chancellor, said: “To see Raffles’ graduates from University of Northampton courses featured in one of the world’s most influential fashion publications is a fantastic testament to the partnership we share.

“The success reflects the creativity, innovation and industry-focused education that sit at the heart of our partnership with Raffles Singapore. We are incredibly proud of what our students are accomplishing on the global stage.”

The feature comes shortly after the first cohort of UON graduates celebrated their graduation in Singapore, marking another milestone in the University’s expanding international presence and commitment to developing the next generation of creative professionals.
