Business leaders across Northamptonshire are being urged to sign up now for the University of Northampton’s upcoming Help to Grow: Management programme, with places available on the next cohort starting in November.
Delivered by the University of Northampton and backed by the Department for Business and Trade through the Small Business Charter, the 12-week programme is designed to help leaders of small and medium-sized businesses overcome common growth challenges and unlock new opportunities.
Open to businesses employing between five and 249 people, Help to Grow covers key areas including strategy and innovation, digital transformation, marketing, entering new markets, financial management and employee engagement. Participants also benefit from one-to-one mentoring, peer learning and the development of a tailored Growth Action Plan.
Business leaders are being encouraged to register as soon as possible, with places limited and bursary support available to help cover the cost.
Dr Al-Amin Dabo, Associate Professor and Lead for Help to Grow at the University of Northampton, said: “Many business leaders know where they want their organisation to go but are looking for the time, space and expertise to develop a clear plan for sustainable growth.
“Help to Grow provides practical tools, expert insight and valuable peer networks that can help businesses improve productivity, strengthen leadership and build resilience.
“We would encourage eligible businesses to secure their place now.”
The call comes as independent Government-commissioned research highlighted the impact of the programme. The evaluation found participants reported increased confidence in their leadership abilities, improved understanding of management practices and stronger business resilience.
