A round up of mentions in the media of the University, our graduates, staff and students.

With two subjects at number one in the country, seven others in the top 10 and two more in the top 20, the University has topped the National Student Survey, where students have their say on the quality of their course, tutors and their overall experience of studying. The news is reported by the Northamptonshire Telegraph.

Fashion students have created the 2027/2028 season kit for Northampton Town Football Club and BBC Radio’s Ollie Conopo spoke with some of them about their designs and James Whiting, Chief Executive of NTFC about how the idea was developed. Adding his thoughts to an MSN article about recent race-related rioting from members of far right organisations in the UK was Professor Paul Jackson, an expert on extremism and radicalism.

The recent Schools’ Inclusion conference – hosted by the University at Waterside Campus – was well-attended by education professionals from across the county. It focused on special educational needs and mental health and wellbeing and featured in the main county newspapers, including the Daventry Express.

There are two articles in the Nigerian This Day publication about the University’s recent CARE Racial Action Summer Conference, the second of which chronicles fashion entrepreneur, Rosie Young, who joined the Abia State delegation at the event. The event was also covered by the Midlands Gazette.
