Decided the hustle and bustle of a city isn’t for you? Look no further than Northampton. It’s a conveniently located town filled with greenery, easy access to some of the UK’s most known cities, and heritage and history of its own.
A Peaceful Learning Environment
Northampton is a town with a peaceful environment. It’s close to some major cities like London, Birmingham, and many more. Finding peaceful locations to revise is made simpler, whether it’s a sunny day sat on a bench by the River Nene or the quiet study areas in the Learning Hub. This calm atmosphere promotes positive mental health as well as academic achievement.
A Strong Sense of Community
Connecting with people over here is easier compared to other places due to the small town. You’ll be able to recognise faces after the first meeting, as you’ll see them again around the at Waterside bar, on the campus, grocery shopping, or just hanging around in some cafes.
Particularly for international students acclimating to a new environment and culture, this sense of belonging is immensely reassuring.

Affordability and Accessibility
The cost of living is one of the main advantages of studying in an affordable town as opposed to a big city. Everything is more affordable, including groceries and housing.
