Joseph has a background in working across a range of national security settings, specialising in the application of behavioural science to operational and investigative contexts. As a consultant, he delivers psychologically informed training with a forensic focus, and provides strategic advisory services to public and private sector clients worldwide, helping them mitigate risk and implement evidence-based solutions.

Joseph’s current research examines high-stakes human behaviour within forensic criminal, and HUMINT contexts, aiming to inform and advance best practices across policing, counterterrorism, and intelligence communities.
