Midwifery Skills Lab
The Midwifery Skills Lab is a unique and specialised space for students to enhance their learning and midwifery skills in a clinical setting. The room is equipped with anatomical models, specialist manikins and equipment required for simulation within the birth continuum such as birth simulation, infant feeding and emergency scenarios such as neonatal resuscitation. The Midwifery skills lab provides students with a safe space to consolidate their knowledge and skills prior to attending placement.

Midwifery skills laboratory where simulated teaching occurs featuring a hospital-style bed, baby cot, and clinical training equipment used for teaching maternal, newborn, and postnatal maternal, fetal and neonatal care within the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period.
