Welcome to Sport Management and Leadership BSc 2023.

Welcome to the BSc (Hons) Sport Management and Leadership course at the University of Northampton. This course places significant emphasis on the development of business and leadership skills, to meet the growing demand for sport business leaders, managers, and coaches in the national and international sport business sector. Throughout the degree, you will develop a breadth of knowledge and skills, including sport management, sport marketing, sport leadership and sport sociology.

​Whatever your ambitions, we’re here to help you to achieve them. We’ll support you to identify the skills you’re learning during your course, find your strengths and secure practical experience so that when it comes to applying for jobs or further study, you’ll feel confident in standing out from the crowd.​​

Equipment

​​You are not required to purchase any mandatory kit or textbooks to start this course.  Students will require sportwear for some modules. We will provide all students with one of our course branded t-shirts and students can purchase further course branded kit from Kit Locker. Though optional, we encourage students to consider an additional pair of tracksuit bottoms/leggings for circumstances when completing work-based learning activities, and representing both our course and institution​
