Welcome to MBA Finance Pathway – September 2026.
The MBA Finance Pathway programme offers a world-class course in finance, designed to prepare students for successful careers in the global financial industry. Dr. Modawi received his PhD in Finance and brings industry experience from both Lloyds Banking Group and HSBC Bank. As Course Leader, he guides MBA students in finance, banking, investment, accounting, and corporate finance—last year, one of his students secured a job at Barclays Bank.

Session: The Faculty Welcome Experience!
This is how we love to kick things off in the Faculty of Business Law! This fun and friendly social event brings music, unique games, party food and more to our new student and staff community. Hosted by the faculty Student Experience Assistant Team (SEAT), this is a great opportunity to connect and mix with peers and tutors from Business, Management, Analytics, Marketing, Hospitality, Law, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Criminology, Criminal Justice & Policing course communities. We promise you’ll have a great time…NOT TO BE MISSED!

Equipment
Students are expected to have their own laptop and scientific calculator for the MBA Finance Pathway course. These items are essential for completing coursework, calculations, and assignments throughout the programme. Examples of suitable scientific calculators will be shown in class when the course begins.
