Referencing support at UON

Referencing guides

Library & Learning Services provides a variety of support resources for referencing. The Referencing pages on Libguides offer online guides to Harvard and OSCOLA referencing, and additional guides (including PDF versions) are available from the Skills Hub Referencing page.

Referencing software

The University subscribes to the RefWorks citation manager. Information and support for RefWorks are provide by Library & Learning Services.

The Research Support team can also advise research staff and doctoral students on the use of other referencing tools such as Zotero and Mendeley, which can provide additional features useful to researchers. An overview of Zotero is provided during PhD induction, and training sessions are also provided as part of the Graduate School development programme.
