Vice Chancellor to deliver keynote speech at Ashoka U Social Entrepreneurship Conference at Brown University

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Northampton, Nick Petford, will be delivering a closing speech at the Transforming Higher Education from Local to Global: Social Entrepreneurship Conference at Brown University on Saturday 22 February.

​Organised by the Ashoka U Exchange, the conference will bring together staff, academics and students from 150 colleges and universities, representing over 30 countries. Attendees will discuss their vision for Higher Education institutions that are equipped to create innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing social problems.

Nick Petford will be representing the University of Northampton in the closing panel, alongside two other Changemaker Campus university leaders. Nick will explain how the University has become a global leader in both student employability and social enterprise.

The University of Northampton is the only University in the UK to achieve a ‘Changemaker Campus’ status from Ashoka U.
