The University of Northampton is pleased to announce that it has been shortlisted for a prestigious first aid award in the category of Organisation of the Year. The St John’s ‘Everyday Heroes’ is a special awards programme celebrating the incredible heart-warming stories of ordinary people who have used first aid to save a life, and the individuals and businesses that have championed the cause to create more first aiders in our communities.

Paul Bradley, Health and Safety Manager, commented: “The fact that the University has been shortlisted is fantastic recognition for the commitment all of our first aiders make not only in the role they fulfil but also in terms of their dedication to maintaining their skills through regular training and updates.”

The winners will be announced in a ceremony on 26 March. For more information, visit: http://www.sja.org.uk/everydayheroes/default.aspx
