Foodies are spoiled for choice at the University of Northampton following the launch of a brand new restaurant on campus.

The Park complex, which opened on Monday at Park Campus in time for the new academic term, offers students, staff and visitors a fabulous selection of food and refreshments in comfortable, contemporary surroundings.

Comprising a kitchen-style restaurant, a coffee shop and a deli, The Park offers diners an increase in the quality and variety of food, healthier options, all at competitive prices.

What’s more, students receive a 10 per cent discount every time they spend at The Park, if they present their student ID card.

Akshay Acharekar, Catering Operations Manager at the University, said: “We are delighted with The Park, and are sure students returning to campus this month will absolutely love it.

“We held focus groups with staff and students to help us develop our plans for The Park and we think they will be impressed with the results.”

The Park Coffee Shop and Park Kitchen are open 8am to 4pm on weekdays, and the Park Deli is open from 8am to 6pm on weekdays.

All three outlets will also be open between 9am and 4pm during Welcome Weekend – Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September.
