Future development of Park Campus – consultation events

News Page 27th July 2016

The University of Northampton is planning to build an exciting new Waterside Campus in Northampton’s Enterprise Zone.  If the plans for the town centre campus progress as expected, the University will relocate in 2018 and there will be an opportunity to redevelop the current Park Campus to offer further housing in the local area.

In November 2013, we consulted on our plans for the future development of Park Campus.  We have listened to these discussions and would like to invite you to some further public consultation events to help finalise our plans.

Please join us at:

The Pavilion, Park Campus, The University of Northampton, Boughton Green Road, Northampton, NN2 7AL

Tuesday, 25 March from 4pm until 8pm

Or at:

Hinton Road Community Room, Hinton Road, Kingsthorpe, Northampton, NN2 8JL

Wednesday, 26 March from 12pm until 4pm

Professor Nick Petford, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Northampton said: “The proposed Waterside Campus is a hugely exciting development for both the University and for Northampton.  We hope these events will give the local community another opportunity to find out more about the project and share their thoughts with the project team. We very much hope that neighbours and interested parties will attend the consultations and help us to further refine our plans”
