Fall in love this Valentine’s Day…with cake!

BA Events Management and BA Acting & Creative Practice students are pairing up to raise money for an upcoming acting festival in Northampton, with a Valentine’s Day inspired Cake sale.

All are welcome to the Valentine’s Bake Sale, which will take place on 13 & 14 February, between 10am-3pm, on the Ground Floor of the Learning Hub.

Charlotte Disbury, third year Event Management student and co-organiser of the Bake Sale, said: “The Valentine’s Bake Sale will bring the atmosphere and celebration of Valentine’s Day to Waterside Campus. It is a unique opportunity to express the feelings to loved ones or friends and thank them for being who they are. Plus, our wide range of cakes should make it easier to find the way to everyone’s heart.”

All funds collected during two days of the Bake Sale will be used to support the Fringe Festival 2019 which starts on 29 April and lasts till 3 May at the Platform Club.

The Fringe Festival will celebrate the talent of the final year BA Acting & Creative Practice students, with live performances of their dissertation pieces.

Charlotte added: “The Bake Sale will also include original acts and monologues, prepared and performed by Acting and Creative Practice students to emphasis the unique atmosphere of this special day. It is also an opportunity to chat with the actors – we can’t wait to see you all there!”
