The Observation suite in psychology is used to observe human behaviour in Psychological Research as well as in assessments on a number of our clinical programmes. The observation suite allows academic staff to conduct research by observing human behaviour while minimising their influence on such behaviour. When using the observation suite, the researcher is removed from the room, observing participant behaviour through a one-way mirror from the control room. The control room is also equipped with a microphone and audio-visual recording equipment so that the researcher can communicate with participants in the room and record research studies or clinical roleplays to allow for a more detailed analysis of the behaviours.
